Picabo Street Has Seen Better Days - Arrested For Beating The Hell Out Of Her 76 Year Old Father

Fox – Olympic gold-medalist skier Picabo Street has been charged with assault and domestic violence after authorities say she pushed her father down the stairs in a Utah home in December. Street told police she locked her 76-year-old father in the basement of a Park City house after pushing him and then called authorities, according to charging documents released Wednesday. She says her father, Roland Street, pulled her hair in the Dec. 23 fight at a house near Park City that police say Street’s three children witnessed. Roland Street told police his daughter got angry and started yelling after he bumped his car into the house while trying to leave, documents show. When the two went inside the house, a physical altercation broke out. He says his daughter grabbed him in the shoulder and neck area and pushed him down two flights of stairs. He said he may have hit his head. Police observed cuts on Roland Street’s elbow and neck.

You know the wild thing about the Olympics for me? We fall in love as a country with the most random people from the most random sports and then never ever hear or think about them again. It’s every 2 years. And then they later go on to have some terrible thing happen in their life. That wrestler guy who later lost all his toes to frost bite, that speedskater who was on Dancing With The Stars, the gymnast who became an Instagram whore, the list goes on and on and on.

And now we have Picabo Street, arrested for throwing her elderly father down the stairs and locking him in the basement. Good grief Picabo! You can’t go rag dolling old folks like that. Even if he was pulling her hair, I see that mugshot, gotta believe she could have easily walked away from the situation. I don’t want to point fingers and blame anyone til the facts come out, but as a general rule, throwing grandpas down flights of stairs probably won’t get you a call back to NBC to do skiing coverage next Olympics. Old man better watch his back, Picabo is not going to be happy about that one bit.
